Job Title: Tax Manager Location: San Francisco, hybrid (3 days in office) Salary: $150-175k (DOE) + Bonus Robert Half is excited to partner with a leading private investment firm overseeing $9 billion in capital. Known for its strategic investments in middle-market businesses, the firm focuses on opportunities in fragmented industries with strong growth trends and scalable potential. Responsibilities: + Review federal and state tax filings (returns, K-1s, withholding) for 80+ entities across fund groups. + Work with tax advisors to provide information, prepare workpapers, and resolve tax issues. + Manage the tax calendar to ensure timely filings and payments. + Address tax inquiries from limited partners and handle notices. + Coordinate tax filings for 30+ portfolio company entities. + Assist with accounting and reporting for the General Partner, including capital calls and distributions. + Maintain capital accounts and prepare annual financial statements for the General Partner. + Compile data for ad-hoc analysis and tax planning. Requirements + 5-7 years of tax experience (asset management taxation, partnership, K-1, and tax returns) + Big 4 experience is a huge plus! + Software: Strong Excel, QuickBooks, Investran Excited about the role?
