ROLE SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of materials in alignment with established warehouse plans. It includes handling incoming goods from various sources—including UK and US vendors, service swaps, and de-installations—and performing ERP transactions to ensure inventory records are current and precise. The role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory integrity and supporting operational efficiency through accurate data entry and recordkeeping.

This position is intended for the working hours of 10am to 6:30pm M-F.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inventory Management & ERP Transactions
  Accurately execute inventory transactions in the ERP system for all incoming, returned, and refurbished materials. Ensure system accuracy across receiving, bookings, stock management, cycle counting, and reconciliation.
• Receiving & Inspection
  Receive and inspect incoming materials, verifying part numbers, descriptions, quantities, and Certificates of Conformance (C of C) when applicable. Store items according to warehouse plans and resolve any related discrepancies.
• Documentation & Recordkeeping
  Maintain organized documentation by collecting and filing receiving paperwork. Record and report shipment data, including charges, damages, and discrepancies, for accounting and audit purposes.
• Delivery Oversight
  Supervise delivery activities, ensuring goods received match shipping manifests. Promptly report any discrepancies to the Distribution Service Center (DSC) Manager.
• Logistics Coordination
  Coordinate with carriers to arrange deliveries and issue instructions, ensuring timely and accurate transportation of materials.
• Issue Resolution
  Collaborate with DSC staff to resolve issues such as damaged goods, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
• Order Fulfilment & Production Support
  Fulfill sales orders through accurate picking, transaction processing, and dispatch. Support production by preparing and verifying kits using ERP transactions.
• Cross-Functional Support
  Perform additional duties as assigned during staff absences or operational needs.
• Workplace Organization
  Maintain a clean and organized work environment in alignment with 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous relevant shipping/receiving experience and manufacturing systems knowledge required.
• Strong collaborator with flexible attitude to work priorities.
• Ability to operate powered equipment.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude.
• Good computer skills (MS Office applications).

HIGHLY BENEFICIAL SKILLS

• Knowledge of DYNAMICS GP or equivalent is preferred.
• Licensed Powered Forklift Certified (not required)
