Description Help Desk Analyst II $70,000 - $80,000 + benefits ONSITE in Torrance We are looking for a skilled Help Desk Analyst II to join our team in Torrance, California. This role involves providing advanced technical support to users, both onsite and remotely, within a 100% Microsoft environment. The ideal candidate has a strong background in IT support, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to evolving tools and processes. Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot and resolve intermediate-level technical issues involving software, hardware, and networking, ensuring timely resolution. - Maintain detailed records of support requests within a ticketing system, documenting processes and solutions for future reference. - Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications to meet user needs. - Diagnose and repair hardware issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices, while managing system build processes. - Manage user accounts by creating, modifying, and deleting profiles, handling password resets, and managing access permissions. - Address basic network connectivity issues, including configurations for local area networks and internet access. - Collaborate with system engineers to escalate unresolved issues and provide detailed information for efficient problem-solving. - Develop and update user manuals, FAQs, and knowledge base articles to support users and technicians. - Conduct follow-up communications with users to ensure complete resolution of issues and gather feedback on support services. - Assist in implementing cybersecurity measures and provide users with guidance on safe computing practices. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Help Desk role supporting organizations with 300+ users. - Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting within a fully integrated environment. - Hands-on experience with ticketing systems and providing both onsite and remote support. - Strong adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and processes. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Solid understanding of Active Directory and Windows 10. - Competence in basic troubleshooting techniques for hardware and software. - Familiarity with service desk ticket management and documentation practices.
