Overview

Command is seeking Associates interested in being on multi-disciplinary teams with our world class experts that engage with a diverse array of projects and people.  Our Associates support teams and project managers in functions like research, analysis, and presentations, while learning the dynamics of consulting and portfolio management.  

Command Associates are self-motivated people who excel in a dynamic work environment with multiple new challenges and assignments in support of our consulting teams.  Our Associates work across the spectrum of consulting, from business development and research to field work, writing, and creating presentations.  

Our Associates are self-starters who learn, contribute, and are challenged in their work while supporting multiple business units with varying needs.

Command has  immediate opportunities for Associates and has opportunities to work remotely from our Washington, DC, offices as well as temporary assignments domestically and abroad. 

Job responsibilities include:
  • Contributing to the complete lifecycle development of new projects – from research and proposal writing and presentation, to working with a team in Client support and project deliverables, such as writing and preparing reports and assessments;
  • Assisting our teams of subject matter experts with various projects, logistics, and initiatives;
  • Providing research, writing, analysis, and general support on a diverse range of business and  security topics for Clients;

An ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree.
  • Flexibility. While this is a remote work position, security and intelligence projects can be short notice and require irregular hours and weekend work.  There will also be opportunities to travel to Client sites for projects and site visits. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal / non-verbal communications skills, including writing and research skills. The ability to write professionally in a compelling and concise fashion is important. 
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills, as well as strong attention to detail.
  • Initiative and ability to work well independently and with others.
  • Positive attitude. Comfortable with meeting deadlines. Desire to learn and develop professional skill sets.  
  • Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office suite applications.

Salary depends on experience. The pay range for entry level positions is $50-$65K and includes a full benefits package.

*Associate report to, and are affiliated with, Command Group Headquarters in Washington, D.C., but can expect to work remotely. Limited duration assignments abroad are also available.
