Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4 plus years experience in electrical work, including installation, maintenance, and renovation of electrical systems. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints, using hand tools, and working with low voltage systems. The Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations meet safety standards and comply with local codes. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial, and industrial settings. Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues. Work on construction sites to build new electrical installations or renovate existing systems. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes during all electrical work. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless project execution. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement. Qualifications Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician or similar role in the electrical field. Strong knowledge of electrical theory, low voltage systems, and industrial electrician practices. Proficiency in using hand tools, benders, and testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters must have own hand tools, basic power tools Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
